KNIGHTS OF FORDHAM The Knights Of Fordham, the Campus So- dality, has long been recognized as one of the motivating forces of campus life. Now in its eleventh year, this organization has been made noteworthy by its progressive and forthright policies. Definitely not for the weak willed, the So- dality maintains a strenuous program of spirit- ual development to accomplish its dual purpose of apostolic work and self-sanctification. In or- der to activate their high minded goals, the members attend daily Mass in the University Chapel, study the lite of Christ and participate in their annual closed retreat. The Mission Dance, held every year at the end of October, was co-sponsored this year by the Knights Of Fordham and Combined So- dalities of City Hall Division and the Chi Rho Fraternity. As always, the dance was the high- light of the social season and its financial suc- cess contributed to the needed funds tor the Jesuit Missions. The Sodalists, moderated by Father Duross, meet every Tuesday at eleven o'clock and at prearranged times during the summer vacation. Lectures and days of meditation complete the well rounded days ofthe Sodalists. Eugene Mitchell Prefect Top row: K. McCabe, J. McGillicuddy, M. Newcombe, K. Reynolds, Bottom row: G. Mitchell, D. Charles Kuffner Prefect SODALITY OF OUR LADY OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION Orgonization. That word was on the lips of the Freshman candidates when asked what impressed them about the Sodality. Why? Close co-ordination between the Moderator, Fr. Eamon J. Taylor, S.J., and the member Chairmen of the Executive board gave the Sodality direction. This ioined eftort, rendered cohesive action towards fulfillment of our Price Apostolic Work by the Sodalistsf Coupled with the main apostolic work was a well rounded social, and religious activity program tor the Sodality. Once again, the Sodality lent is resources to the Mission Dance, Swanee Swing and the result was success. Active participation by Sodalists in the World Sodality Congress at the Hotel Roosevelt aided our Organization in the conception and continuance of our Price Apos- tolic Work. 'lncluded within the Price Apostolic Work was the maintaining of our program to foster student awareness to current problems, International, national, cultural and lnterlectual. Experts in their respective fields were invited to address the Student body offering suggestions and solutions and encouraging discussion from the floor. First row: P. Ragone, E. Bruno, C. Tursi, K.
