Starting as a reporter on the Quill, he later edited both the Maroon Quill and Aries sports sections. JAMES HUGHES The Accounting Society was guided this past year by the capable hands of Jim Hughes. Jim, a Distinguished Military Student, also served as clcsz president in iunior year and added wit to the Quill with his Campus Capers. LORRAINE M. MUELLER Lorraine, along with being Associate Editor of this year's Aries, has served as a columnist for the Maroon Quill. During her Junior year she was elected Presi- dent of the Barrett Literary Society. This year, Lorraine, also is Secretary of the American Marketing Assoc. and served as Vice-President of Gax. MARTIN MONAHAN Marty served as Vice-President and Secretary of the Student Council in his senior and junior years. His leadership was always present at the Annual Com- munion Breakfast asd the lntcrclass Dinner. CAROL E. MURPHY Carol has spent four years with the Quill and was appointed first woman Editor-in-chief this past year. She was a member of the University Council and serves as Managing Editor of the 1961 Aries. Treasurer of Gax in her Junior year, Gax is fortunate to have her as President this year. 143
