O'Mai1ia. Business Club The O'Mailia Business Club, for many years, has been a source of information on current business topics. Members are addressed at the bi- weekly meetings by leaders in commerce and industry who answer questions and discuss matters of interest to students. Guest speakers are usually former Fordham students who 'have made their mark in the business world. Often, movies are shown and demonstrations given in order to keep the student abreast of current events, and at least once a year, a field trip to some large company is held. 1 Among the guest speakers this year was Mr. John Sheridan, Director of the General Accounting Department at American Machine and Foundry Corporation, who spoke on the mergers-and subsequent growth of his company over the past ten years. The Club was also honored by the appearance, as speaker, of Benedict T. Harter, Controller for American Cable and Radio Corporation. Mr. Harter, who is chairman of the Board of Governors of the School of Business Alumni Association, spoke on the Fordham reputation in the business world and the benefits to be reaped by Fordham graduates, based on that reputation. As is the custom, both speakers lectured for thirty minutes and held a fifteen minute question and answer period. 'SW ll .nr- 'T' JJ Front Row: P. Everich, D. Berry J. McDermott, A. Herold, J.
