? i ? City H a 11 Presently, the City Hall branch is endeavoring to develop a cross index catalogue of all the material in the City Hall Library which deals with the subjects studied in the entire management curriculum. This will not only be a great asset to the faculty but will also enable the entire student body to obtain information with ease. Plans are currently being formulated to establish at Fordham University a chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Management. ln addition definite arrangements have been confirmed which will result in the presenta- tion of lectures and the showing of films to the Management Society for this year. The many activities of the Management Society have proved of great benefit to the students in this field. Due to its encouragement, many seniors have taken advantage of the opportunity to enroll as members of the Ameri- can Management Association. Front Row: A. Mella, C. Basile, M. F. Keenan, N. Fmance Society , Posing again. Donald B'a'm The purpose of the Finance Society is to aid all interested students in gaining a more thorough knowledge of the field of finance and to keep abreast of its ever changing nature. Under its moderators, Dr. l-l. Silvanie and Mr. Allegretti, the society proposes to do this by arranging meetings with promi- nent individuals active in the financial field and by visiting their places of business for a first hand look at the operations. lt is the intention of the Finance Society to reestablish itself as an integral part of the co-curricular program of the School of Business.
