The executive officers of the Council for the i958-59 school year are: President, Patrick Neville, Vice President, Paul Dursig Treasurer, William l-lickeyg Corresponding Secre- tary, Michael Politog Recording Secretary, Jo-hn Lyons. Con- tinuing as moderator is Mr.'Raymond Diskin. Among the many accomplishments of the Council dur- ing the past year was the addition of various amendments to the constitution. A student court was created with justices from each year. A new andvaluable Freshman Orientation program was inaugurated. The Council sponsored such traditional affairs as the Mission Dance, Mission Fund Drive, Blood Drive, Communion Breakfast, lnterclass Dinner, Student Directory and Senior Week Activities.

The Student Council of the City Hall Division serves as a Chffsf D'ak0POUl0S medium of Contact among the students themselves and be- tween the student body and the administration. lt is an organ- ization composed of all class and organization presidents from both the day and night session, who meet together to discuss, plan and approve matters pertaining to student activities. The i958-59 Student Council elected Christ Drakopoulos of Senior A President, to lead them through the academic year. To assist Christ in his task, George Reedy of Senior B was elected Vice President, James Hickey of Junior B, Secretary and Martin Prendergast of Sophomore B, Treasurer. Under the guiding hand of Dr. Maurice Hart, its moder- ator, the Council moved through a very successful year. Among the activities co-sponsored by the Student Council have been the annual lnterclass Dinner, the Communion Breakfast and the Student Directory. The support rendered by the Student Council in the organization of this year's Freshman Orientation Program, Blood Drive, and Ring Committee proved to be very effective. The Open l-louse which was held after the Ford- ham-Army game, was also sponsored by the Council. President l5l A quick caucus. Q
