Beyond the resemblance in physical stature, Bernie pos- sesses that natural, ready wit and legal and philosophical mind that is characteristically Lincolnesque. It is only his beaming dispo- sition which clashes with the Great Ameri- can's melancholia that prevents him from being an exact prototype. WILLIAM P. HELLWIG, B.S.
