Will It Be Next Year? The Ford High School Baseball team has missed the play-offs the past two years by only a narrow margin. This year by only a half-game. The Panthers stayed in first place until the last half of the season, but the team fell to third place and ended the season with a 9-5 record in District 12-AAA and 14-9 overall. Senior Danny Bush was selected Honorable Mention, all-district outfielder. Others who received All-District Recognition were Paul Stausing as Newcomer of the Year and second team outfielder and Mark Stewart, second team pitcher and second team second baseman. Honorable Mention selections were Bubba Whitley, first baseg Mike Kiser, shortstopg and Bush. The Panthers will only lose two seniors this year, Danny Bush and Trey Smith. These two have helped lay the foundation for the strong team next year with 10 returning letterman, six of whom will be seniors.
