The previous injury did not seem to bother Callahan as he punted the ball three times for a 49-yard average. Tackle, John Colombrito, however, was injured in the game with a knee injury. Next on the schedule was the Forney Jackrabbits, in which the 'Rabbits prevailed, 19-10. Overall, the Panthers glayed a good game, but Forney just played a little bit etter. The Panthers evened their district record at 2-2 with a 25-14 win over Kemp. The Panthers out-rushed C332 yardsl and out-passed C1271 the 'Jackets for a total of 459 yards to Kemp's 182. Callahan led the team in rushing with 174 yards on 21 carries. The Panthers then beat Canton, 25-11, to keep their chances of a playoff spot alive. They outgained the Eagles 354-178 in total yards. The Panthers lost any chance of any playoff spot when they lost, 34-7, to Mabank in the next game. The Panthers opened the scoring in the first quarter, but Mabank shut out the Panthers the rest of the game, while scoring five touchdowns of its own. Wills Point was the last game of the year and the Tigers won, 27-22. This game meant nothing for either team except the winner would finish in third place. The Panthers fell behind early, and a late rally fell short.
