Never Say Goodbye was the theme for the 1986-'87 JuniorfSenior Prom. Opening and ending the Prom with this song was the most appropriate thing the disc jockey, Kidd Kraddick from the Eagle could do, because the theme reflected the feelings of the Prom-goers, especially the Seniors. The evening began with the reading of the wills and prophecies while everyone enjoyed their meal. The rest of the evening was spent dancing away to the music from his awesome sound system. Later on in the evening, Kraddick hosted a singing contest in which Dana Maxwell and Keith White displayed their musical abilities. The evening ended with the theme song. The Seniors formed their circle and sang the words. Each Senior hugged, laughed, and cried with their closest friends, and you could tell they wanted to Never Say Goodbye.
