Striving For The Best The Student Council kept themselves busy doing mai activities this year. i As usual, they did the things traditional for Stude Council. These include the Homecoming activities, tl Blood Drive, and the Who's Who and Academic Awar ceremonies. T This year for fund raising activities, they sold bump stickers. They also had a ball-toss booth and cake raf at the Fall Festival. lie Ls' 'W he FHA Improves Community Future Homemakers of America students, in additi to learning such things as cooking and sewing, z constantly striving to make the community better. FI is striving for success by teaching members valual things in order to make the community a better place live. A When an FHA member noticed the problem of lit along Hwy. 34, she presented an idea to the club to pi up trash along the road after school. The FHA also sponsored a clothes and toy drive collect items for needy children in the Quinlan area. Another event held by FHA was a Winter Ball. T formal dance took place in January. Members of the Child Care class also taug kindergarten classes at the Cannon Annex and went a field trip to the Tyler Zoo. President Gwen Adams makes notes during FHA meeting. STATE 100
