Deck Division is responsible for maintaining and caring for the ship's exterior, manning and organizing all replenishment at sea stations, operating the ship's motor whaleboat, standing bridge watches, CBoatswainmate of the watch, status board, lookouts, helm, JL talkerl maintaining flight operations gear and manning flight quarters stations. They provide 7596 of the manpower for repair II and repair III during general quarters. They also man the forecastle for special evolutions such as Sea and Anchor Detail for mooring and anchoring evolutions. Deck division supports the ship's mission by giving it the ability to achieve underway replenishment to maintain time on station, ability to conduct flight quarters to support the LAMPS MK III mission, and simple contact management providing Combat Information Center the visual confirmations and immediate changes to the surrounding area needed for safe navigation.
