Foreword It seems like only yesterday that we entered the hallowed halls of Ford City High as young and very impressionable students. What would our high school years hold in store—spine tingling chills at a victorious game, our first formal dances, making wonderful friends, and experiencing pleasures and sorrows which will always hold a place in our memories. Suddenly our carefree days have ended with graduation. Again we must start at the bottom of a new ladder and work our way to the top, not knowing what the future may bring. We must base the beginning of our new journey on the foundation set by our teachers and experiences at Ford City High School. Throughout your years of teaching at Ford City you have acted in the capacity of teacher, friend, and advisor. Your devotion to your work has instilled in the student body an ever-increasing respect and admiration for you. This dedication was chosen to be the means by which we might express our appreciation for your interest in student affairs. We, the Class of 1966, feel that this is a well-deserved honor and hope that you will accept it as a small token of our thanks. Gratefully, The Class of 1966 yee Se | Superintendent Dr. Porter earned his Bachelor’s degree from Grove City College in 1952. For the last twenty-two years he has been at Ford City High. While at Ford City he taught math and was an athletic coach for several years. In 1960 Mr. Gregory became Junior High Principal. His understanding nature and his guiding hand have led many students on to higher endeavors. We, the Senior Class of 1966, have grown to respect and admire him greatly. Mr. Miller has spent thirty-nine years at Ford City High School. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. We, the graduating class of 1966, wish to thank Mr. Miller for his unending friendship and the con- cern he has shown us. As we travel along life’s paths, we will always remember the wisdom and thoughtful advice he has imparted to us during our years at Ford City High. Junior High Principal , Lreas Earl Artman -Pres. Liz We've had a bit of England in our halls this year Our wonderful Liz has brought us joy and . cheer! The class of 66 has formed a permanent bond with England through the friendship of Elizabeth Tilley, our exchange student. Liz’s per- sonality bubbles over with kindness and thought- fulness toward all. We hope she will always remember the great times and experiences that Ford City had to offer. We will always remem- ber Liz for the wonderful person that she is!
