Class History W®, the senior class of 1967, entered the Forbes Road High Schooj. for the first time in 1961 to begin our six short but rewarding years of learning. We began with sixty-one class members. Our first two years were spent getting acquainted with the new school, the teachers, and fellow classmates. The friendships that developed proved lasting through our final years at Forbes. In 1963, we returned to begin our freshman year. We held a roller skating party as our money-making project. During our sophomore year which began in 19614., we sold 3weat shirts and school Jackets, had a Halloween Party, and held the annual farewell dance entitled Moments to Remember for the departing seniors. We presented a Dlay, No Time for Skirts , for our assembly program. After a short vacation, we returned in 1965 as Juniors. This year was filled with memorable events; the receiving of our long-awaited class rings was one of the most cherished. As our first money-making project for the year, we held a Thanksgiving Dance. Ey this time, plans were under way for the Junior-Senior Prom which was held on April 23, 1966, from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m., with the Playboys providing the entertainment. The theme was Some Enchanted Evening , and the impression of an enchanted garden was given. For our assembly program that year, we held a play entitled Boris and the Briefcase . Our senior year was filled with many exciting events and some rather sad ones. We began our activities with the Autumn Hop , which was a great success. During the year, we sold Christmas cards, hoagies, and candy. Our senior class play, The Phantom Bells , kept the audience laughing and in suspense to the very end. It consisted of only ten members but required the participation of every class member. It Is im- possible to describe our senior trip in a few words; it was an experience we will all remember. Now as graduation approaches, and our short time in high school comes to an end, we will go our separate ways, each of us taking with him fond and cherished memories of Forbes--memories of good times, pleasures of working with faculty and administration members, the other wonderful events that took place during our six years at Forbes Road.
