CLASS HISTORY .Ve, the senior class of 1965» entered the new Forbes Road School as the first seventh grade to occupy its many rooms. Cur first year was spent getting acquainted with the students, teachers, and most of all the school. During this year we held no money making projects. The total number of classmates was fifty six. Following what seemed a very short summer we returned as eighth graders. There were a few who dropped out during this year, but most of us continued to be a little wiser. During this year we had a hay ride as a money making project. Our freshman year was somewhat more exciting. Mr. 3c Mrs. Decker and Mr. 3: Mrs. Blaine accompanied us on a tour of Gettysburg. '.Ve also held a 3unny Hop that year. As Sophomores we were beginning to feel more lixe high school students. He held a Farewell Dance for the seniors and also sold sweat shirts. The Prom and classrings were the magic words for our junior year. Many of us were beginning to select the courses we would need to prepare us for the schools we would enter to further our education. In all it was a very exciting year. Finally our goal was in sight as we returned to Forbes as its senior class. The class now totaled thirty seven. JVe sold candy, Christmas cards and held a back to school dance among other activities. And now that we are only a few steps from going our separate ways, we may each take with us the many memories of Forbes Roac: memories of basketball, baseball, cheerleading, chorus, octette and all the other wonderful events that toox place during our six years at Forbes Road Joint Junior-Senior High School
