GREETINGS CLASS OF 1956 It is a pleasure to have this oppor- tunity of extending a greeting to each one of the l956 graduates. You have earned your diploma and you deserve congratulations and best wishes. For each of you I wish success and happiness. May you find employment in keeping with your interests and abilities. May you prosper in keeping with your needs. I covet for each of you the satisfaction of a life well spent, of work well done and of service to others. Success requires work. Happiness comes through achievement, good health, faith in God, family and friends. You will see many changes during your life. There will be new inventions and discoveries. You will need to adjust your way of life to meet new conditions. However, you will recognize that the Ten Commandments and the principles ex- pressed in the Sermon on the Mount do not change. Do not think that the world owes you a living, but rather through study and work make your own way. Do more than is expected of you. Work at being a good citizen, ever mindful of others. Be a good neighbor recognizing all men as brothers. Life is a rich experience. Learn to meet both success and failure with courage and humility. DAVID LICHLITER Supervising Principal IOHN P.
