,rr- RUTH SHIRK Ruth has taken an active interest in all of her school activities, and has been an outstanding student as well. She has always participated in Mixed Chorus and Girls Chorus and as a junior she took part in the operetta, Lady of the Terrace . Ruth has served in the capacity of Assistant Edi- tor of the Aerial and the Hillside-Aerial, and has done a fine job on the editorial staff of Le Souvenir. She also was a member of the Future Homemakers of America for three years and the Tri-Hi-Y Club her junior year. EDWARD RODGER Edward is one ofthe outstanding athletes of the class. Ed played baseball for the Hoovers for three seasons, var- sity basketball for two years, and football in his senior year. While a freshman and a sophomore he did a capable job of managing the Hoovers basketball team. Ed has been a member of the Varsity Club for the past three years. Ed also was a member of the Hillside-Aerial Staff. DONALD LOHR Donald Lohr joined the Class of 1951 in his Sophomore year after attending Conemaugh Township High School for a year. Donald played basketball during his junior year and belonged to the Varsity Club. As a senior Donald was a member of the Hillside-Aerial staff. Don's easygoing nature coupled with a ready wit made him one of the most popular members ofthe class. INA CLAIRE KIMMEL lnie is known by all for enthusiasm and participation in musical events. Ina's big thrill was when she was select- ed to be a member of Western District Chorus. She also participated as a member of All-County Chorus for three years and took part in two-high school operettas. Lna was a member of Girls Chorus and Mixed Chorus throughout her four years of high school and was a member of the Mixed Sextet in her sophomore and senior years. She had the honor of serving on the Student Council and Honor Court on a number of occasions. Her pen yielded many articles for the Hillside-Aerial and she was circulation manager for the yearbook.

at Forbes. HELEN MAYAK The most quiet and reserved girl of the class is no other than Helen. She was a member of Mixed Chorus and Girls Chorus during her first year of high school and partici- pated in the operetta Boston Tea Party while a freshman. Although she was quiet, her even disposition has earned her many friends. MARY LOU IACOBACCIO Mary Lou one of Forbes peppy cheerleaders during her sophomore and junior years participated in Mixed Chorus and Girls Chorus throughout her high school career and was chosen twice to be a member of All-County Chorus. She was also a member of the reporting staff for the Hillside-Aerial. Mary Lou was an outstanding supporter of all school activi- ties and very rarely missed any school functions. GERALD MILLER Mort joined Forbes as a senior after attending Johns town Catholic High School where he participated in the band and played for the Volley Ball team At Forbes he was Sports Editor for the Hillside-Aerial and was a member of Mixed Chorus. His friendly manner won him many friends PA UL HOL PIT Paul took a very active part in Student Council actix ities in his freshman and junior years He also belonged to the Rifle Club and the Mechanics Club while in high school I 'TJ' his senior year he played with the Golden Jets football team
