The highlight of the night came at halftime, when the Homecoming court - Lena Alvary and Richard Herrera, Julie Coving- tonand Richard Ramirez, Evon Taylor and Archie Wright, Pam Jacobson and Derek Webster - made their way around Trojan Field in brand new, open- to A ed Volkswa ienCabriolets . DP Q - T D A A The theme of the night was A New Beginning. Club floats represented everything from the birth of a baby dinosaur, destined to grow like our Trojan spirit, to the 200-yeartcelebration of the U.S. Constitution. The cheerleaders' float featured a younger generation dressed in Football colors, to represent a new begin- ning .. . f almost a Trojan. , ' T Halftime ended with the Homecoming Courttak- ing the field, and Archie Wrightand Julie Covington cmwnedsass the 1987 HomecomingyKing and Queen.
