Junior Class Officers elections were held in May of '87 and resulted in two run-offs, one between Joe Cooper and Tasha Jones for President, the other be- tween Alicia Espericueta and. Lisa Sandoval for Vice President. The results were Joe Cooper as Presi- dent, Alicia Espericueta, Vice President, Sondra Stamboolian, Secretary, and Belinda Martinez, Trea- surer. Their first responsibility was the Junior Class Dance. lt was a great hit, said Vice President Alicia Espericueta. We raised over S992 and profited about 5730, which I think was due to the tropical drinks we served. Next was the Junior Class magazine sale, held September 22 through the 29th. The class raised about 32000, but the sale didn't seem to be very suc- cessful, according to both President Cooper and Vice President Espericueta. lt wasn't much of a success because the stu- dents didn't put much into it, said Cooper.
