. Bruce takes charge For this 1987-88 year at Foothill, the school received an ambitious new leaders, Principal Dr. Bill Bruce and As- sistant Principal Bill Jones. Their aim is to regain Foothill's statue as a leading school in Bakersfield. Dr. Bruce wants to continue to develop student pride in their school and themselves. What better way to let the student enjoy school more, but through improved atten- dance. Dr. Bruce, along with teachers and parents, want Foothill to be a place where students want to come, learn and have fun too.
