Bous Trock ls Bock According to Varsity Track Coach Ted Oliver, this was the best track team at Foothill in over six years. They went undefeated in dual meets. ln the invitationals, the team always placed high and won many medals. This year's team had six individuals who rank in Foothill's all-time top ten in their events: Joe Coo- per inthe pole vault, Eric Fulmer in the 100 yard dash, Darrin Wynn in the 880 and mile, Odell Smith in the 300 l.H., Erin Bailey in the long jump, and Donte Glin- ton in the 110 H.H. Kim Walker hands over the baton to Lottisha Thompson in the 440 relay race. According to girls track team coach Rod McClin- tock, The team had great distance and middle dis- tance groups. We had girls who were willing to com- pete in any event as long as it meant helping the team. Along with an SYL record of 5-2, the team set nu- merous records and received several medals for their relay events. Girls track displayed team effort in many ways making them all key players.
