Homecoming Homecoming week was ex- citing and'successfu1! Thereiwasi a lot going on to keep all of us busy! e i There were activities and a variety of music each day during lunch to keep our Homecoming spirits high, The activities in- cluded building and ,eating a fancy banana split, pouring water into a test tube as it is held between your partners lips, and com- peting for the best cartoon characters voice. In this contest, S25 was awarded to joe Pena for his imitation of KermitQthe,Frog. After a shortened day',ofj,school Friday, a rally was held in the iquadl Entertainment was provided by dancing songleaders, cheer- ing cheerleaders, and rapping football players. Also, the junior, Sophomore, and Freshman princesses were crowned. After the ,-, fa. rally, everyone excitedly for the parade. i . Almost everyday after school students had met with their class to work on their floats. At the parade, the floats rolled slowly down main street while crowds of people cheered on the sidelines. The final judging decision gave first place to Seniors for The Flinrtoner, second to juniors for Cbipmunkf Go Hawaiian, third to sophomores for George of the jungle, and fourth to the Freshmen for Permutr. f p The final activitiesfor the week included the football game, where the King and Queen were crowned at Half-time, the pic- nic, at Molat Park Saturday afternoon, and finally, the Dance, Saturday evening.
