The 1987 golf team consists of many talented players. This year's team is defen- ding the NCS title and the CIF title. Brian Pemberton is one of the best players on 'the team and is ranked number 1 junior in Nor- thern California, and number 4 in the na- tion. Todd Fischer a four year letterman in gold is also a great asset to the team. The undefeated golf team hopes to again repeat the great season they had last year. .Q 1 Swimming Sr Diving People on the Foothill Swim Team must show extreme dedication. Having had begun practicing in early February, the team practices every day after school, and sometimes on Saturday, and the dedication has shown. At practice the team works on the four basic strokes, but- terfly, backstroke, and freestyle, pulling and kicking. The team is under thedirection of Mike Schroth, the head coach, Bill Canon, the boys coach, and Michelle Grutman, the girls coach. l.
