CLOSE si it is i7 , 'ff ' ,rifle il if ,.ifm..., IMI . . fab K l l , l This year, despite the lack of advertising, the Close Up trip to Washington D C was a complete success Four students Diona Cheng, Christina Gangnuss Cindy Gregersen, and Charlie Stuller went on the trip Each said that they had a wonderful time The trip was full of seminars, workshops, lectures, and discussion groups on such subjects as trade, budget, defense, and labor unions. Although very educational and fun there was too much information shoved into too little time. There were 1200 students on the trip during our week but only 200 were in our hotel. The major portion of these 200 drew very close to each other and'this made for an incredibly fun week. It was both a socially and educationally stimulating experience. l.
