g Dances Walking from the football field toward the gym, the vibration of the music fills your ears. The cold, crisp wind stings your cheeksg while your anticipation brings you one step closer. Once you've entered, the music takes over your body making your feet move and arms swing. Pleasurable expressions are worn on the faces of all, for our heads are free of all formulas and equations. For the moments we dance, we are just a bunch of lost souls having a good time. Moving rhythmically, we slowly become lost in our own thoughts. Eyes wander and curiousity send our hearts racing. As the music slows its beat, bodies become closer, Emotions become obvious through joined hands and locked lips, All of a sudden the mood has become hearty - because after all these are OUR dances. l 4 lf Activities

r S FHS Marching Band 86-87 The Foothill Falcon Marching Band has a total of one hundred twenty members. The-band itself is one of Northern California's premiere bands. Students in the band have to give up a great deal of their free time to practicing in order to make their field shows a success. A field show is a nine to twelve minute performance on the football field where each member of the marching band executes various maneuvers while playing his instrument. While the band plays, you see the flag girls and the rifle girls twirling about in unison. The Foothill band competes all ove the world. This year the band has planned a trip to go to Europe during the summer. In l988, the band has been invited to Australia. This coming Spring, the band will perform in Hawaii. Some interesting places that the band has already visited are: Superbowl '85, Los Angeles, Florida, the Rose Parade, and the Tournament of Roses. Responsible for the success of Foothill's Marching Band are Bob Moorefield, Director and Andy Faye, Drum Major. Ji1.....s:..S l. Missy Watrreti takes time out to say Hill Z.
