. -if R d RY rg X, . . X . -QX 2 ti 3 5 a. IKYX J is I ,A rw' What's Hot l986-87 were years of high fashion at FHS. The unique styles of dress reflected each person individuality. Around school varities of clothing were seen. For girls when the weather got cold turtleneck, v, crew, knit, fishermen, and long sweaters were the answer. Guess jean jackets, pants, overalls and minis were hot year round. Making it to class on time was no problem -- Gucci and Guess watches care of that. Scrunched down leather with-1 pants or skirts were really hot. Boots were seen? all over campus, and no matter what you did with them they were hot. The sportiest shoes were Reeboks and Reebok high tops. Color coordinated flats were worn with all out fits. Banana clips held all lengths of hair back this year. Silver belts were a familiar sight around waist - silver being a hot color. Traditional backpacks and big roomy 4- 'x leather bags helped everyone carry their books to class. Striped, solid and multicolored rugby shirts were popular with the guys and the gals. For guys 50l's remained ever popular, and suspenders made it big, Rolled up cotton pants with pokets on the side had class. As always Gotcha, T8cC, and all surfing shirts were hot. Corona Extra and graphic tees set the mood for the up coming weekend. During the winter months warm wooland cotton sweaters were all around. Either layeredgwirh turtlenecks, button ups or just plain. CBC, and North Face reappeared. Underneath the thermal socks hor feet were kept warm by Reeboks, Nikes, Adidad, K-Swiss, and Vans. Cool feet wore Flo-jos, Birkenstocks, and Adidas slip ons. As the year came to an end people pulled out their vuarneys and Sunclouds. Shorts, tanks and tees were all that was worn. Now, all we had to do was wait for school to be out so we could hit the beach!!! V Student Styles 15
