Q r ii ii What's Not Even though FHS is definitely HOT, thing proved to be a little rocky during the first few weeks of school. Coming back to school was not on the top ten list of favorite things to do in September. The bright rays and late summer night took a toll on some of us, for we came back in some not hot fashions. Some kids had an excuse they were Amador transfers. Most brain dead guys were easy to pick out. The Haired bell-bottom jordache seemed to say it all. Colored bandanas tied around the left leg made the look even more vivid. Usually the spicked dog collars were rarely seen because of the lack of hair cuts the previous school year. The Polos and Izods with the collar flipped had no excuse. Concentration and time was the only way to get a glimpse of hidden penny loafers since the bell-bottom covered a good 2 square feet of the campus. The fun in the sun affected the girls in an adverse way. The jellie shoes and shinny spot sacs was only the beginning. Jordache for her covered with leg warmers was definitely not. Some even tried hidding behind orange caked on faces with bright pink blush, and shocking red lipstick to hide from their embarrassment, but all was useless. The feathered look was real groovy considering it took cans of hair spray to hold that style. In moment of despair, spirits were lifted by a new set of Lee press on nails in the glamor length. Michael jackson and Shadow Cliffs went together like Captain and Teneil. Lucky for us the trip from not to HOT didnt take that long. As the year went on not became a thing of the past. Unfortunately the trip can not be com- pletely forgotten! Our cross town rivals are still in the dark about being hot.
