THE TIONQS CAPITAL After three years of waiting the annual trip to Washington becomes a reality for many Juniors and Seniors. A few hours traveling, a stop at the Roger Smith Hotel, and then they prepare to tour Washington. Our proud heritage soon begins to unfold before eager students. The Capitol, Pentagon buildings, and the Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials, inspire Fontbonnites with memories of the great men who have helped form, strengthen, and preserve our union. -EL Fond memories will linger long after the traditional Grand March has concluded the Seniors' eagerly anticipated prom. In a whirl of laces, tulles, chiffons, and satins we were whisked off to the Roof Garden of the Pierre to enjoy the loveliest night of the yearn--the night of the Senior Prom. All too soon the familiar strains of our school song filled the room reminding us that in a few hours the evening of dreams come true would be a happy memory.
