Iunior - Senior Banquet .R ns JA1 The junior Senlor Banquet took place at 6 30 May 15 1953 at the h1gh school gymnasxum The theme of the banquet was Anchors Awelgh The gymnaszum xtself was not decorated but the stage was adorned wlth a large sh1p of blue and whlte to represent our school colors w1th large sllver masts The bleachers at the east were decorated wlth green and sllver stream ers the class colors Good luck Semors was wrltten down the center and the class motto Today We Launch Where Shall We Anchor was written on the bottom row of the bleachers Several slgns were placed on the gymnaslum walls to tell the dlrectlons to the dlfferent sections of the shlp A welcome slgn was pamted on the north bangboard and bon voyage was pamted on the south bang board The students and faculty members sat at decorated tables of green and s11ver the center plece of each table was a boy and glrl sailor and the nut cups were sallors standmg beslde thelr boats The members of the faculty had a large shlp on thelr table also l , 3 fjiiaiu L Lv--v' l ?
