1 Men Have Died To Leave You These FOUR SYMBOLS OF FREEDOM A Holy Bible symbol of your right to worship as you wish. A Door Key your right to lock your door against illegal government force and prying. A Pencil freedom to speak or write what you think, whether you agree with the govem- IUCHI Ol' l'lOt. And A Free Ballot your right to choose the people who represent you in government- your protection against government tyranny. Will you leave these freedoms to your children? In half the world, these symbols and what they stand for have been destroyed. Unfortunately, people cannot preserve what they do not understand. Moral values, democratic govemment, and free enter- prise are essential to our way of life. We can defend our free society if we have a good grasp of its underlying values. We can protect the individual if we know why his freedoms are important. If we're right at the deeper level - in our approach to man and society - we can meet the Communist challenge, which is in fundamental conflict with everything we stand for. If we know what it means to be an American - and if we intend to remain free - we had better rededicate ourselves to the Moral, Political, and Economic values be- hind this great nation of ours.
