Returning to lead the local cindermen were Charles Benson and Leonard Dodson, both selected as co- captains. Benson ran distances from lO0 yards to 880 races, while Dodson spent most of his time with the sprints and the broad iump. Both turned in sparkling 9.8 times in the l0O in early season.
