This school system has become a sizable institu- tion, with the consolidation of thirty-one surrounding districts, comprising two main buildings housing high school, junior high and elementary units, together with sixteen fine rural schools. The teaching staff is in now comprised of more than fifty excellent teachers and the operating expenses this year is approximately three hundred sixty-five thousand dollars. It is the function and desire of the Board to provide facilities for a sound basic educational program, ever mindfull of the importance of the three Rs in the pro- gram, Plans are in the making for further expansion and improvement in the near future.
