FULTONVILLE TRI-COUNTY BASKETBALL CHAMF'lONS The 1938-39 season was the first time in the history of F. H. S. that the basketball team had been so successful. They were crowned Co-Champions with llroadalbin in the Tri--County League. The Varsity won twelve games and lost four. The boys who received letters are: Capt. Floyd Rose, Harold Skinner, Howard Bellows, George Podmajersky, Paul Moran, Lawrence Quackenbnsh, I-Iazlett Quackenbush, Harold Rose and Harry Gill, Mgr. The junior Varsity was also crowned Champions by winning ten games and losing one game. Through the excitement of spills and fast scoring, the DI. V. won their title. XYhen the All-Star Team was elected, two F. H. players, Capt. F. Rose, center, and Harold Skinner, forward, were chosen for their 'respective posi- tions. llellows, Pod, and Moran were given honorable mention by the select-- ors of the all-star team.
