This year Is our Falcon’s 10th anniversary. It was created In 1968. When school spirit at Folwell was almost non-existent, Mr. Carlson, the principal then, with help from the newspaper staff, organized fund raisers to got more activities. They also found out that Folwell had school colors, purple and white, and had a contest to get a mascot. The Falcon was chosen, and Ann Marie Savage drew the first falcon. Our 10th anniversary Falcon was drawn by Kris Papulas. We hope the school spirit will continue to be as great as it has been. This year Folwell had added spirit, with the new kids coming from Nokomis. These students participated in clubs and activities and helped to make them more successful. They have become a part of Folwell, and their spirit has made our school a better place. Here Comes 1979 Folwell Spirit!!
