PRINCIPAL One well-knovxm writer of educational philosophy has said, It is well to acquire knowledge, it is even better to use it as a means to achieve a good life. But the process of learning should also be enjoyable in itself. One of the most precious possessions that you may antant than the possession of knowledge is the man- ner in which you make use of it for the benefit of others as well as yourself. The process of acquiring knowledge, like most things that are worth treasuring, is not obtained easily. You have expended considerable time and effort to achieve your present level of accomplish- ments. You will find even greater satisfaction from your efforts as you become more proficient in your search in new areas of information that you will challenge and stimulate your inquisition, thought, and imagi- nation. With your increased knowledge and wisdom comes a realization and appreciation for your abili- ties. During your years at Folsom High School, you have achieved new heights in academic progress and maturity. We are proud of your accomplishments and commend you for outstanding work. Mr. James S. It is not my intention to advise, but, rather to com- met on the future and what it holds for you in this ex- citing world, and to suggest how you might enjoy life. Folsom Senior High School ranks high on the list of a California schools for its academic and co-curricular activities, calibre of students, and community interest in education. With these foundations at your disposal, it would appear that sincere devotion to learning should be uppermost in the minds of students. We need to develop a seriousness of purpose, a reason for learning. The facilities, equipment, materials, and teaching staff are here, willing to help you. The decision is yours! The world is blessed most by people who do things, and not by those who merely talk about them. 8 Nlr. M. Gene Badgley acquire in your life is knowledge. Even more import-
