Like any com- munity of people, there must be organization The city must have administrative leader- ship, a court system, a police force and a fire department. And what is a community without churches and hospitals, theaters and athletic events . A floating city must also have a barber shop, a store and a laundry. But above all, a ship has people: repairmen and deck hands, shipfitters and yeomen, signalmen and gunner's mates. The USS FLOYD B. PARKS has its com- munity organized into departments and divisions .
