Mrs. C.McGinness,, instruct- or of the Modern Dance Club, believes that exercise plays a major role in the energetic art of dancing. All girls are required to do exercises be- fore practice, in order to shape up for their routines. Dance history as well as basic techniques, are studied. En- couraged by their teacher, the girls have created original dances which were performed in their concerts. Future plans for the club include benefit shows for charity. Twenty-four people make up the El Caballero News Staff. Editor May Gin was aided by Jay Casey, Pat Hickok, Sandy Leek, and Barbara Zellar who served as page editors. Published once every month, the paper reports on both the Comical and serious sides of campus life. Sports and mo- vie reviews were added as one of the many monthly features. In addition to the monthly publications, the staff plays an important role in school af- fairs. Rap Sessions, sponsored by the paper, enabled the in- dividual student to voice his opinions on vital campus is- sues while his classmates lis- tened attentively.
