Thespians, national honorary fraternity for high school students, is composed of active and experienced drama stu- dents. Anytowners Learn Leadership Chris Stoltz, Jim Woodward, Natalie Green, and Marilyn Mott, the 1969 Anytown dele- gates, traveled to Anytown Arizona, on June 9-15 at the Sky-Y Camp at Prescott. Any- town Arizona, an educational workshop for the high school youth, developes friendship and understanding among the teenagers as they become interested and involved with small discussion groups, super- vised study, and recreational activities. Busy Staters Study Government Procedures Delegates to the 1969 Ari- zona Boys’ State, held June 8-14 at Flagstaff, are Lonny Catt, Guy Keenan, and Joe Stanley. Boys’ State, sponsored by the American Legion, is a citizen- ship training program where boys learn about democratic government by actually oper- ating it. They establish a mythical 51st state and elect their own officers who perform the same duties as real offi- cers. May Gin and Tricia Black are the 1969 delegates to Girls’ State, held at the University of Arizona. Sponsored by the American Legion Auxilary, Girls’ State was held June 9-15 and functions the same as Boys’ State. Right (L-R): J.Stanley, T.Black, and M. Gin; Staters.
