Drama Tames “Shrew” but Also Stumbles December’s productions of “Taming of the Shrew” and “up the Down Staircase” characters were portrayed by members of the Drama classes; scenery provided by the Stage- craft classes. February, found Steve Holloway and Shirley Spencer performing the leads in ‘‘Look Back in Anger.” Spring began with the April production of ‘’The Bad Seed,” a play of a young girl who is a psychotic killer. ““The Twelve Pound Look,’” Stagecraft class’s second production, followed later in April. In her Spare time, Drama teacher, Miss Sharon Mihelich directed the plays.

Career Day Innovative Idea Stimulates Career Interest Career Day, 1970, is no longer an idle idea on a scrap of paper. It has happened; it has come alive. Mr. Richard D. diCosola and Mr. John McCormick, together with members of the student body and faculty, have made this possible. Designed to acquaint Flowing Wells students with the occupational and professional fields open to them, CAREERS 1970 offered 25 workshops in which students could ask ques- tions concerning all aspects of a career. Speaking in the keynote assembly, Rep. Morris Udall (D-Ariz.) urged students to make their own decisions for their future Careers.
