RIGHT: Mr. Mark Latham, chair- man of English Department is enjoying his new office, available to the department for the first time this year. 92 Language ls Ideas, Action The English Department of- fers programs designed to meet the needs of all students, those who plan to enter col- lege and those who plan to go into business and industry. The humanities approach forms the basis of most pro- grams, carried out in a team teaching situation. All new buildings are designed and equipped for this kind of pro- gram, with large areas which can be easily divided into small, flexible units. Emphasizing idea rather than facts, each instructional unit is planned to give students an opportunity for creative experience.
