Class of 1968 On a warm September day, a group of thirty-four girls beganto ascend toward their goal-a career in nursing. Construction ofa firm foundation began as each student spent her probationary period attending classes at the University of Toledo. With this big stepping stone be- hind her, the student became aware that the frame- work of knowledge is built upon many factors. ln the 28 process of growing, she learned to meet new and challenging situations. Perhaps two of the most earth- sha1cing experiences encountered are the first patient contact and administering -the first injection. Classwork, which has thus sustained her, must now be put to the test. It is understood that only through maturation and experience can a student become an effective nurse.
