NTLK unrvvugff Ns-....., 'f1m ss,gf-. ,f its . . . over the summers, through the bummers, amidst the smiles and the boring whiles, Bluff students managed to stash a few memories. The romantics dominated the scene, choosing Still by the Com- modores and Born Again by Billy Preston and Syreeta as their favorite songs for '79-'80. Styx stacks first with the Commodores pulling up a close second in the group rates, and Hornets listened for Billy Joel or Kenny Rogers whenever they plugged in the radio. Of course their sets had to be tuned to stereo KZFM or to KEYS. If not, Bluff music maniacs kicked back with Off the Wall by Michael Jack- son or Pink FIoyd's The Wall. Pulling a close third was Styx Cornerstone fMust have been a good year for bricklayersj. . . . and after the joyous football season, the amazing girls basketball season, and a visit from Free Fare, Bluff students still found time to make it to the movies. They sniffed through Kramer vs. Kramer and laughed through The Jerk. Yes, the girls sighed over Burt Reynolds and Clint East- wood while the guys drooled over Sally Fields and Bo Derek. - As we look back on our memories of 1979-1980, we must also look ahead to the changing styles of years to come.
