CHEERING CN A WINNING SEASCN The cheers of the 1979-1980 varsity cheerleaders had a new ring as the football team began to win more and more games. These fine young girls hung in there and yelled to the very end, leading the crowds in chants and yells to support the team at football games. At the pep rallies they led the student body to the most spirit it has had in years. Of course, no pep rally would be complete without the treats handed out to the players each week furnished by the cheerleaders. These girls went to sum- mer camp for a week where they learned new cheers and perfected some old ones. For their efforts they received many awards.
