Competing in eight meets and between 2nd and 6th places in the remaining meets. Outstanding individuals advanced to regionalsg Keli Haney and Cheri Cochrel missed a trip to state by placing 11th and 12th in regionals. Having a young team this year creates hopes for Coach Perry to have an opti- mistic outlook next season. The boys also have a young team, mostly Sophomores. Competing in dis- trict they placed 4th. Although none qualified for region their determination will carry them to a successful season next year. As other fall season sports, Cross Country takes desire and self-discipline to compete well.
