Middle Flow: Greg Wiggins, Pat O'Brien, Bill Alm, John Kirby, Scott McCord, Jamie Foy, David Krause, James Thornburg, Doug Govan, Fred Akins. Bottom Flow: Danny Phelps, James Scott, Jeff Moreland, Nick Harrington, Andy Martinez, Martin Lichorvvicz, David Keener, Matt Menard, James Hendrix, and Manager Mack Mead. The 1979-80 Junior-Varsity Hor- nets ended the season with a district record of 3 wins, 6 losses and 1 tie. The J.V. Offense shined as quarter- back John Fine completed many passes to receivers Greg Wiggins and Mike Pichinson. The running game was brilliant with such backs as Doug Govan, Pat O'Brien and Jamie Foy scrambling for precious yards. The defense was always tough throughout the long hard sea- son. The entire J.V. team practiced very hard in the summer and into the year. Probably the most remem- bered game was in Rockport, when the J.V. came from behind to beat J the Pirates. Pat O'Brien drives for a tough first down against the West Oso Bears.
