CLASC HISICRY O ce upon a tume a long long tlme ago In the dIm dark past of nIneteen hundred and twenty eIght A D a FaIry Queen wlth the touch of her maglc wand brought to the Castle of EducatIon BuIldIng on Florlda State College HIII SIX lIttle chIldren who were to be members of Mrs Ealys kIndergarten class Wlth another wave of her wand she named them BIII Messer Isabel Rogers Mary Ann Waller Harry MIddIebrooks, DorIs Malge, and Sanna Jane Taylor That was the beglnnlhg of the MagIc Class of NIneteen Hundred Forty one A very Important day It was when the Falry Queen gathered together her small children and flew wIth them on her magIc carpet to another castle There she left the SIX of them In the care of MISS Leonora Smlth the fIrst grade teacher Before she departed she promlsed that she would return at the end of SIX years and fly wIth them to another castle The flrst grade completed, that small group entered the second grade and were happy to flnd another chIld Mary McCann, and another Instructor Mrs Flnner account of every week end In their Immortal Monday MOFHIHQ Storles KnowIng the FaIry Queen would come agaIn after the sIxth grade the Class of Forty one dId not tarry long In the second grade, but eagerly chose new desks In the thIrd grade room It was there that Davld Gunson became a member of theIr class They knew that the Fairy Queen would be pleased to learn that her MBQIC Class was growlng and that they were under the Influence of the beloved MISS Mauds Board of Control TheIr next stop was In MISS Wlnters fourth grade room Oh' how much fun It was to QIVC a hlstorlcal costume play In chapel, wlth a new actress to help them' She was Mary Lucy Mendenhall lrIs Watson a llttle pIanIst Norma Upchurch and Jack Whltaker came to school Just In tlme to go wIth the class to the fifth grade Here Mlss Russell was the one to greet them They had almost forgotten the good Queens promlse to return after sux years Then one day they remembered that there was only one more change until she would reappear Sad because of David Gunsons leavlng, the class ventured Into the hlghest grade of grammar school to 3WBIt her return They dldnt mmd thelr stay there at tittee 'W LJ, n ' I I ' ' ' I ' i . l 1, .
