...-- NF EDITOR-IN-CHIEF'S MESSAGE Youth Marches Forward, our theme for the 1958 Clavis, is an inspiring motto for the citizens of tomorrow. In preparation for future citizenship, our school becomes the laboratory in which we gain ex- perience. It is a place where individuals are doing many things to enrich themselves mentally, physically, and socially. The youths of today are not juvenile delinquentsg they are the potential leaders of tomorrow, who will derive wisdom from their knowledge and experi- ences. If our country and our people are to survive, our youth must realize its responsibilities, raise the torch of citizenship ever higher, and indeed, march forward! For many years we have energetically strived to reach our graduation day. That day has at last arrived, now, each youth must march along his own pathway, leaving behind the memories of F.H.S. Editor-in-Chief JEAN SANDHQFF

No other place, none other had The laughter and tears we shed in our fight for thee This is our song, the song of all the students, To Florence High our Alma Mater free. Oh! may you always have the joys and friendships That we enjoyed when we were with thee.
