One certainty is that it does exist each year and will con- tinue. Although there are sports, dances, and assem- blies each year, the mark we as individuals put on them makes each year unique. This year of our lives was a special chapter in the Never Ending Story of Florence High School. Each new year brings championships in every aspect such as academics, athletics, and overall student par- ticipation. 1984-85 Homecoming Royalty This years royalty was one of a kind! Leading the royalty She's a superb student, top 5% of her class, and she's was Shannon Waller as king and Susan Rankin as queen, just an all around superb person. Shannon Waller was tri-captain of the 84-85 football team, he's an excellent weight lifter, and he's looked up to by most of the younger football players, and other students as well. Susan Rankin is captain of the 84-85 Pom Pon sqaud. The rest of the royalty is just as outstanding as Shannon and Susan.
