I I Dr. Gwynn came to Flora Macdonald in January, 1951. Since then, he has desired only the best for the college as a whole and for the students as individuals. With this interest at heart, his intelligence mingled with his sincere humility have been responsible for many improvements. His infiuence on our campus is tremendous. But his influence is not limited. He is a respected citizen of North Carolina and his abilities are recognized even beyond our state. His name adds distinction to our college. As he dedicates his life in service here, we dedicate this Annual to him in an effort to say, We love and respect you as a person with integrity.
