much happier when we feel that we are doing something directly connected with the war effort .... W'e only hope that by the time another year has gone hy we will have rolled twice as many bandages. launched a dozen ships and exhausted every resource within our reach to bring to our land and to our college a new and deeper realization of the meaning of liherty and peace. The WIHITE HEATHER has also undergone changes hecause of the shortage of materials vital to the war. hut we hope that everyone will he willing to overlook any deficiencies that have occurred and will find thia volume a true representation of a year at our cherished alma mater ....
