Foil 1982. We returned to school, but with o tremendous difference. After four yeors of soot-grimed wolls, condemned classrooms, construction chaos and makeshift operations, we began the year in our completed Building B. Even the excitement of the move in January '82 hod been dampened by the temporary wall through a half-finished cafeteria, the temporary placement of the main office in o classroom, and workmen everywhere. We were beginning this year with the real thing, our new building, which forms the cup of the U-shoped complex, main offices spread across the front and o large, centrally located commons-cafeteria area with decor borrowed from McDonald's and with spacious halls radiating in oil directions to moke it truly the Eye of the Wolf.” The completed building, after the yeors of unrest, seemed to be o significant factor in creating o new atmosphere around F.H.S. Everyone seems more owore of school being the focus of our lives during the four yeors we spend here. The activities, the organizations, the athletics, os well os the classes become more vividly real to us. Each day and each person is important because we, oil of us, ore the Flora Wolves. Thus, the new school and our heightened awareness of the importance of each individual involved in oil phases of school life come to o point one day in a pep session when Mr. Peterson referred to The Eye of the Tiger” (o popular song of the day) becoming The Eye of the Wolf” for athletes here ot F.H.S. We of the Horston staff take one step further and use this book to show you one integrated year with each port of school life relating to the other through the Eye of the Wolf.” Row 1 Mrs Mory Conrad Secretory Row 2 T E Coleman. Many seniors worked hord on their floor, only to be disappointed with lost place. The reason for this seemed to be that the float was lore for the parade, and in the process of getting into line, Pac Mon” fell off onto the rood. The Homecoming Donee turned out to be o success, though. Seniors led busy lives, bur they hod to take time our to study for the federal and store constitution tests. Some hod to study (study?) and take it several rimes before they were finally able to pass it. Things become slightly different this year. Senior Political Science, o closs to broaden students' minds about politics, become o required closs for the first rime. Ordering of Senior Keys, graduation announcements, ond cops ond gowns gave seniors o reminder that graduation was just around the corner. Prom was o very joyful occasion. The juniors mode the gymnasium o beautiful sire for a festive evening. Senior wills were made with careful thought and consideration to be read during Prom. At last, graduation came.
